Content: Screening and discussion of the 1974 documentary film ATTICA. The documentary explores the conditions and political significance of the Attica rebellion, when inmates at the Attica State Prison rose up, revolted, and shook the world in the process. As we prepare to protest alongside inmates at Cook County Jail on the 21st, we want to discuss the relevance of the Attica rebellion today and what political lessons we can learn from it nearly 54 years later.
