(Dis)orientation Week 2025 is coming very soon! Disorientation Week is a week of raising consciousness and movement building about what Northwestern won’t teach us. Join us between September 28 - October 4, featuring organizations like UPEP, Fossil Free, SOLR, SJP, The Jasmine Collective, and more!

The Goals of Disorientation Week:

* Raise consciousness - Give new and current students the knowledge and skills to understand and navigate the "real" Northwestern.

* Movement building for change-making - Build community by encouraging connections between participants, because change-making requires relationships! Build coalition and solidarity amongst participating groups -- this week should be collectively owned and organized by those involved!

Guiding Values:

* Collaborative and participatory - realizes the democratic practices we wish for educational spaces.

* Abolitionist - oriented towards dismantling systems of oppression and building systems of community care.

* Anti-colonial and imperialist - challenges Northwestern as an imperialist institution and its role in imperialism (and recognizing our privilege as Northwestern students).
