ISBI Divest From Genocide!

Content: The Illinois State Board of Investment (ISBI) has dodged the people it allegedly represents and POSTPONED the meeting. In place of our protest, there will be a PRESS CONFERENCE at 12 noon demanding: – That the ISBI divest state worker pension funds from corporations profiting from and are complicit in the genocide in Gaza. Let’s show ISBI that Illinois workers, students, and communities will not be complicit in genocide. Together, we will hold them accountable.
– That ISBI Vice-Chair and Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs, who has $100 million of our tax dollars actively invested in Israel Bonds, divest from Israel immediately.
