Content: Join us on Saturday, September 20th for Beyond JROTC: a back to school event! RSVP at the link below. Responding to a push from the current administration to increase military recruitment of students, we’ll be discussing and exploring the current state of recruitment efforts in CPS, how to Opt Out, and alternative options for students preparing for their next step after graduation. We’ll be talking, making art, sharing a meal, and sharing resources. Nita’s Love Train will be present to both receive and share school and household supplies! Additionally, we’re excited to offer a delicious lunch by Chef Prep of Pimento Yam!
