Ghassan Kanafani was a prominent Palestinian writer, political activist, and martyr whose work vividly captures the struggles of the Palestinian people.

At 6 pm on October 9th the Poppy and the Pen book club will be reading his novella, Men in the Sun. Through its stark and powerful narrative, Kanafani addresses themes of displacement, dehumanization, and the harsh realities faced by those in exile.
