Content: OUR INTENTIONS In gathering together this fall, we mourn one year of genocide, honor one year of resistance, and hold in gratitude two years of community building with Salon Kawakib. We have invited Palestinian oud player Clarissa Bitar to perform, and we hope that through the melodies of their maqam, we can gather our community to offer a space of healing and reflection. As always, our call to resistance continues through this onslaught of imperialist violence. We intend this space to hold both the immense grief of having lost over 100,000 martyrs and reaffirm our belief in the right to self-determination for the Palestinian people and the right to resistance against colonialism and genocide by any means necessary. SCHEDULE We welcome everyone to move at a pace that honors the weight of this day as they join us for in marking a revolution around the sun. We know nothing can capture the depths of today's heaviness, but to hold space for community, we will be opening our halls an hour before the performance to give space to our collective grief, anger, and hope.
