Freedom Road Chicago Labor History Tour

Content: Join the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO) Chicago labor history tour to learn more about some of the historical sites in the labor movement that shaped this city. Chicago is full of labor history. While we will cover many union and events, the focus will be on the battle for the 8 hour day, the early history of unions in Chicago, the Haymarket Affair and May Day. The tour will be starting in Union Park on May 17th at 11:30 AM. From there we will be taking a bus to each site. After the tour we will let everyone off back at Union Park for a afternoon cookout and drinks which will be include in the price your ticket.
