Content: War and even peacetime militarization are among the biggest sources of climate-disrupting greenhouse gas emissions, but the short- and long-term climate consequences of these practices are rarely acknowledged. Please join Rachel Fredericks, chapter chair and former ethics professor, for a presentation with time for discussion about the scale of ongoing climate damage from war/militarization and, crucially, multiple strategies for waging peace and using demilitarization as a climate solution.
