No primary. No real choice. No voice for the 700,000 people of IL-04. Now Chuy, Patty, and the billionaire-backed Democratic Party machine are using every legal trick available to kick independent socialist Ald. Byron Sigcho Lopez — and fellow independent Mayra Macias — off the November ballot entirely. The Democratic Party claims it’s fighting for democracy against Trump’s authoritarian agenda.
