Content: Tzedek Chicago is proud to present Dave Zirin, author of the recently published book The People's Historian: The Outsized Life of Howard Zinn. This powerful new biography examines the life and work of iconic radical historian Howard Zinn, as a progressive icon and thought leader by highlighting the story of the times that shaped him as well as the United States of America. In our program, Zirin will discuss his book, his relationship with Howard Zinn, and how his life story "gives us a road map for a politics of change." After his presentation, Zirin will engage in a conversation with Tzedek Chicago's founding rabbi, Brant Rosen, who will also facilitate a conversation with program participants.
