Content: Tired of being ignored by administration or having your voice silenced? Want to learn the building blocks of organizing as students to create change at your school? Class is in session this summer for Building Student Power 101 ππ¦βοΈπ’ If you are a rising high schooler (9th-12th grades) who is fed up and ready for action - this camp is for you! Students can join us for a *paid* opportunity to identify issues, build power, and use their creativity and voice with other students and teachers to enact positive change. Campers will get to play games, screenprint & craft, meet youth from around the city, and build up their organizing toolbox for the upcoming 26-27 school year. APPLICATIONS CLOSE JULY 3RD @ 11:59PM! The Details: Where: Community center in Brighton Park and alternate location Who: rising high school students (9th-12th grades), priority given to Black and Brown students. Pay: Campers will receive a $500 stipend for participating! Participants are expected to attend the full week of camp (Mon-Fri). Campers will receive stipend at the end of camp!
