Content: 🖼️ Join us for an exhibit to rediscover our hometown heroes of struggle! 📆 Friday, July 17 There have always been two Americas, fundamentally opposed: the America of the exploiters, and the America of the exploited. The rich history of struggle of the working and oppressed people is hidden from us to make it seem like this system is natural. The reality is that our history is one of heroic struggle and perhaps no place exemplifies this better than Chicago. From Chief Pontiac, to Addie Wyatt, Harry Haywood and more — working and oppressed people in Chicago have been in an almost constant state of struggle. We can and should draw inspiration from our hometown heroes for the struggles facing our class today. The real history of this country has been one of people’s struggle against the villainy of the capitalist class.
