Police-Free Schools: A Teach-In

Content: Join us and @inournames Saturday, August 8, from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Liberation Library for our Police-Free Schools teach-in! Participants will be invited to collaboratively imagine alternate solutions to police responses in common school scenarios. We know that the presence of police (e.g., School Resource Officers) often leads to more harm than solutions that prioritize the well-being of students and their communities. Students deserve and need alternative solutions to school scenarios that address the root causes of such experiences with care, compassion, and love.
