Treatment Not Trauma for a community conversation on the Northeast Side on July 28 from 6 PM to 8 PM hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice Chicago (@advancingjusticechicago). Together, you will:
· celebrate the citywide expansion of Crisis Assistance Response & Engagement Program (CARE) Vans,
· discuss the state of mental health in Chicago,
· hear from Northeast Alders about their commitment to getting mental health resources in our communities, and
· end with opportunities to get CARE 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and to reopen Chicago’s 7 closed mental health clinics

This Northeast Treatment Not Trauma Town Hall will bring together a local coalition of community members, elected officials, and community organizations and institutions to build community with neighbors and learn more about the Treatment Not Trauma Campaign, CARE Vans, and Public Mental Health Centers. It will be one of a series of community events around the city throughout the summer and fall.

Doors open at 6 PM for a Resource Fair followed by conversation from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.
