Chicagoans are gathering to demand an end to war profiteers buying off American politicians! War profiteers including L3 Harris, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Caterpillar reinvest their profits from arming Israel’s genocidal military into our elected officials campaigns. Since 2019, Senator Tammy Duckworth has accepted over $40,000 in campaign contributions from war criminals. We are tired of war criminals and weapons manufacturers having more of a say in our “democracy” than the people do.

Next week, the US Senate is voting on Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRDs) that would prevent over 20 billion dollars worth of US weapons being sent to Israel to continue their genocidal campaign in Gaza. Tammy Duckworth must support the JRDs to end the US government’s active support of the genocide in Gaza with our tax dollars. A no vote on the JRDs has nothing to do with Jewish safety, and everything to do with campaign contributions from war profiteers. As people of conscience, we must demonstrate to our community, country, and elected officials that for us all to be safe we must put peace over profits.
