Join six of Evanston’s Black writers for an engaging conversation where we’ll ask questions centering Black perspectives on who gets to tell our stories, who documents them, who publishes them, who reports them, whose stories become part of the historical record and what happens when people decide to tell their own. Moderated by Tracy Christine Olasimbo, from the Evanston Public Library, and followed by author book signings. This is a free, ticketed event - please RSVP in order to save your seat. Getting here: We are located at 1620 Orrington Avenue, in downtown Evanston, just one block east of the Davis Street Metra and CTA public transit stops. There is metered street parking as well as numerous parking garages nearby.
