For the past eight years, the African and Caribbean Student Association (ACSA) and the Organization of Black Students (OBS) have come together at the beginning of the academic year to welcome and embrace the newest class of Black students into the University of Chicago and the larger Chicago community. This celebration honors those who came before us while creating space for the community that continues to grow today.
