Content: Chicago Area Peace Action's 2026 Annual Fall Fundraiser will feature both long-standing and recently emerging groups who protect and care for our community members despite systemic threats, political machinations and historic injustices. We will highlight groups involved in issues such as rapid response training, mutual aid/ food distribution pantries, community violence intervention, community-building and human rights for all marginalized populations. wo seasoned activists, one from Chicago and one from Minneapolis, will also lead participants in a discussion of what we have learned and how we can strengthen our resistance to injustice and solidarity across diverse communities.
