Content: About economic planning, rewilding, utopian thinking, and more. Part 1 of 2 Join SftP Chicago for a short reading group of Troy Vettese and Drew Pendergrass's "Half Earth Socialism". A few of us were going to (re)read it anyway, so we figured we'd organize a group! While the book centers on a dramatic policy in response to climate collapse -- the rewilding of half of the surface of the Earth -- it provides a lens for a much more complex set of questions about planning and climate policy.
