Content: ✊JOIN Indivisible Lincoln Park-Lakeview-Old Town and Diversey Community Coalition on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11 AM for a family-friendly rally at to oppose ComEd’s proposed substation. 🏡 ComEd wants to build a $253.6M industrial facility the size of a football field, stretching 125 yards along a designated pedestrian street and just 30 feet from Kensington School. We’re saying: this is the wrong site. 🌳Our community needs transit-based housing and smart city planning. This location provides neither! Find another site! This belongs in a manufacturing zone, not in the heart of our neighborhood. Elected officials and local business owners will speak. Come out and make your voice heard!
