Join us to honor the revolutionary socialist and Chairman of the Illinois Black Panther Party, Fred Hampton! We’ll be screening the 1971 documentary film entitled, ‘The Murder of Fred Hampton.’

Chairman Fred Hampton was an exemplary revolutionary. He embodied what it means to live for the people and ultimately to die for the people. Assassinated at the age of 21 by the Chicago Police Department and the FBI, Fred Hampton was a pillar of the fight for Black liberation and a defender of all oppressed communities. Revolutionaries today continue to stand on his shoulders.

As Chairman Fred Hampton said himself, “You can kill a revolutionary, but you can’t kill the revolution.”

Food and light refreshments will be provided. Masks are available on site. This is a free event, but donations are welcome.
