We are so excited to partner with Ujimaa Medics to offer our second Birth Emergency Skills Workshop!

This workshop is curated to help folx to provide unplanned but intentional support to birthing people experiencing spontaneous labor in unconventional situations.

Please note this workshop does not teach you how to be a doula, midwife, doctor, paramedic, EMT, or “medic.” This workshop is not a train the trainer session.

This is a skill share on how to be an empowered bystander, centering on how to spread calm and support someone experiencing a birthing emergency until they can get to a hospital or other safe space.

Suggested donation for this event is a sliding scale of $15-$35.

All donations go directly to support our facilitators and our ongoing Capital Campaign, Stand Up for South Side Birth. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

CSSBC is an intergenerational space! Children are welcome and celebrated. Let us know if you will need child care when you register.
