Content: An attack on one is an attack on us all! Last quarter, UChicago arrested, evicted, and indefinitely suspended two low-income students of color, Mamayan Jabateh and Student A, in connection with the Palestine solidarity protest that took place on campus on October 11. There, UCPD attacked protestors with batons, attempted to run over people with a car, and pepper sprayed indiscriminately—and got a pat on the back. 🐷 Meanwhile, Mamayan and Student A have been threatened with arrest if they step foot on the campus they’ve been a part of for almost four years. JOIN US THIS THURSDAY, JANUARY 16, at 4:15PM ON THE QUAD to show the University that an attack on one of us is an attack on ALL of us. We won’t stop until the University reverses the evictions, restores both students’ education, and commits to DIVEST, DISCLOSE, and REPAIR. STAND WITH MAMAYAN. STAND WITH STUDENT A. FIGHT BACK.
