Content: In this workshop you'll learn to use public records to research code violations and property ownership for any building in Chicago. These tools are key for anyone dealing with unresponsive landlords and housing that feels like it's falling apart faster than the rent is going up. They’ll also share findings from their yearlong investigation, The Tenant Trap, which reveals how tenants across Chicago are left to navigate a housing system that prioritizes profit over people.
