Content: This event is designed to provoke thought and stimulate interest in the impact of mass incarceration in the U.S., the educational programs which can transform and counter the violent carceral system from within, and paths from imprisonment to flourishing. 5:30-6:30PM - The event will start with a resource fair to provide system-impacted individuals, their family members, and the general public with information from a variety of groups working in the realms of art, peace, justice, education, and support services and advocacy to formerly incarcerated individuals. 6:30-9:30 - Live spoken word performances by system-impacted individuals.
