Join ACSA, FSJP, MECHA, MSA, PASC, and SJP for a hybrid Know Your Rights training this Thursday, April 17th, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.

Hear from lawyers and advocates about the current wave of repression, visa revocation, and detention; about the status of legal challenges to them; and about how the university has—or hasn’t—responded. Learn about the rights you have in exercising free speech, interacting with law enforcement, and on the border so you can better protect yourself and your loved ones. In the face of widespread fear, attempts to divifear, and institutional inaction, join us in recommitting ourselves to keeping all members of our community safe.

The primary audience of this training is international (non-citizen) university affiliates and loved ones, although others are also welcome to attend.

Attendance can be virtual or in-person at Swift Lecture Hall (3rd floor of 1025 E 58th St). To ensure maximum security, we request that in-person attendees wear masks.
