Nimmy is a Black radical abolitionist movement mother and grandmother, and all around lovely person, who needs help covering the costs of her daily needs. She is a quadriplegic elder who has been living independently her entire life despite a grossly negligent and dysfunctional health care system. Since her only son and support, Hybachi LeMar (comrade & political prisoner) was taken into custody, Nimmy has consistently struggled to receive and cover the costs of her care. A community group (i.e. punks who care) has been supporting Nimmy on a daily basis to help provide the care and the quality of life that she deserves, but Nimmy still needs financial support to cover basic living and medical costs exceeding her means.

Donations will go directly towards Nimmy’s rent and utility bills. This will help ensure Nimmy’s lights won’t be turned off (again) and that she won’t be kicked out of her apartment (again). You can send money to Emma (her primary caretaker), who tracks and allocates donations to her most pressing needs.
