Join us for our first teach-in! The air we all breathe is crucial to our individual and public health! While the COVID-19 pandemic continues with accompanying long COVID risk and climate change + pollution worsen airborne environmental conditions statewide, at-risk communities continue to depend on masks under constant threat of mask bans nationwide. Join us in learning about the history of masking and how it connects to lineages of interconnected struggles for justice. Help us build power for the campaign to pass the Protective Medical Equipment Freedom Act (PMEFA), a landmark piece of state legislation to ban mask bans. Let’s build community and practice collective care in keeping us all safe and healthy! N95/KN95 masks will be required and provided. Air filters will be provided for the space by Clean Air Club.
