Content: Make Naperville divest for Palestine. Join us on Saturday, October 11th, as we come together to mourn and resist. 🕯️ Vigil – We will gather at the Dandelion Fountain in Downtown Naperville, IL to honor and grieve the lives taken during two years of Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people. 🪧 Protest & March – From there, we will march to Naperville City Hall to demand that the city divest from companies complicit in genocide, war crimes, and violence, such as BlackRock, an investment company that owns Palantir, Caterpillar, Lockheed Martin, Amazon, IBM, Alphabet, and Microsoft as a major shareholder. Naperville City Council has so far refused to pass a divestment ordinance, ignoring their community’s call for peace and justice. We will not stay silent. ✨ Bring candles, signs, and your voice. Together, we will mourn, resist, and demand action.
