Open College Course: Community Wealth Building

Join this special virtual class on Community Wealth Building happening today, Tuesday Nov. 4, which has been opened up to the community as part of the Chicago Next System Teach-in!

The session is offered by the great Stacey Sutton, Associate Professor at University of Illinois Chicago and Director of the Solidarity Economy Research, Policy & Law Project as part of her "Solidarity Economies" course. In this session, you will explore the origins, history, and practices of Chicago's Community Wealth Building Initiative, and CWB models from other cities. To register, simply click the link below and fill out your registration for the specific course listing. You will then receive a document with links to access the Zoom link and recommended pre-readings.

To join, register for the Teach-in and select this event. You can also register for the many other local and virtual events that make up the Chicago Teach-in, happening through Nov. 16. Once registered, you will receive an email with access information to the course as well as other Teach-in events.
