Protest Planning for Anniversary of Trump's Inauguration

Content: On the one-year anniversary of Donald Trump’s inauguration, we feel that it is important to have a united left protest against him and everything his administration represents. True unity can only come about when all wanting to organize an event have a voice in the decision-making process – time, place, format to be determined by participating organizations and individuals. Therefore we are issuing this call for an open planning meeting of those organizations and individuals who oppose Trump to meet at 6 pm, Monday, December 8th at Grace Place, 637 S. Dearborn Ave to plan an action(s) on the one-year anniversary of Trump’s inauguration (Tuesday, January 20, 2026). Grace Place is wheelchair accessible. To ensure democracy and encourage genuine input, NO DECISIONS HAVE BEEN MADE about the event(s), aside from deciding that the action(s) will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
