Content: This Dia de la Virgen de Guadalupe, we’re taking up the call from @legalizationforall network for a national weekend of action to demand justice for the victims of ICE, a stop to deportations, and legalization for all! JOIN US! When: Saturday, December 13th at 1 PM This day is a day to honor la Virgencita, a protector and source of strength for many immigrants whether they are making the journey across the border or facing discrimination and exploitation in their new homes in the U.S. Trump immediately began a mass deportation campaign upon entering office. His administration has terrorized primarily working class immigrants, Mexicanos, Chicanos, Central Americans, and more. Many immigrants have been pushed in the shadows due to fear of deportation, detention and death. Furthermore, Trump has enacted a number of policies to attack Sanctuary cities, such as the reversal of previous protections undocumented immigrants had from ICE operations conducted in churches and schools. Churches have long been sanctuary from ICE, where immigrants could be protected. Join us to fight back this Saturday, and like comment and share this post widely!
