Thank you for supporting the ongoing NORTH SHORE SAYS NO campaign, taking the time out of busy schedules to push for Democracy, Due Process, and the Rule of Law that form the bedrock of our work for a more just United States.

While we see that the majority of ICE and Customs and Border Patrol agents have left the Marriot Residence Inn in Deerfield, Illinois, the emergency is far from over- and the agencies promise to return to the area with quadruple the force in early spring next year.

We will be ready for that – but for now – we are moving our 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm Wednesday protest away from the corner of Kates and Corporate drive over to the highly visible southwest corner of Waukegan Rd. and Deerfield Rd.

The message is the same: hold fast to the rule of law – defend with all of our might due process – and decry all efforts to move the United States of America further down a path toward fascism.

We will gather on Wed. 12/10, and 12/17 – pause two weeks during the holidays – and reassess, weather permitting, for January. And prepare to engage in full force again in the spring.
