From his early life as a boy on the streets of St. Louis, to his development as a scholar and organizer in the Missouri State Penitentiary, to his role as a national leader in the Black Liberation movement, Frank Chapman’s life is a testament to fighting back.

Today, Chapman is the Executive Director of @naarpr and the Field Organizer of @caarprnow.

Please join us to honor Chapman for a lifetime of leadership and struggle with the William Patterson Lifetime Achievement Award.

William Lorenzo Patterson was a leader in the Communist Party USA for decades, as well as the head of the International Labor Defense, a mass defense organization for labor organizers. Patterson is also known for leading a campaign charging the United States with genocide for its systemic lynching of Black people.

Patterson was a Mentor and an inspiration to Chapman, and played a profound role in his early political education.
