Content:

Show up to demand NO DECISIONS about the proposed Quantum facility WITHOUT THE COMMUNITY.

The facility has the potential to cause mass gentrification and environmental harms, and as it is currently proposed would not benefit our communities. Join us in demanding they slow this down:

1. SUBMIT A WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENT
BY TUES, NOV 19TH @ bit.ly/quantumpubliccomment

2. Join us in person on Thurs, Nov 21st at 10 am at Harold Washington College (30 E Lake St) to show the Plan Commission that we need to slow this down! RSVP @ bit.ly/plancommrsvp

The Chicago Plan Commission is about to vote to move forward with the rezoning the entire 440 acre former South Works site for a new $9 billion quantum computing facility. Governor JB Pritzker, Mayor Brandon Johnson, and the companies involved with this are pushing this incredibly quickly without little communication with residents or community input.
