Progressive neighbors in the 14th district council pressured the CPD District Commander for months until she finally agreed to meet with the community. Now is the time to demand police accountability! At the meeting, progressive residents will ask questions around the Oath Keeper Mike Nowacki who is a Sergeant in CPD’s 14th district, traffic stops, tactical teams, ICE activity, and CPD’s years of inaction on the sexual assaults in the 14th district. We urge Chicago 14th police district residents (Humboldt Park, Wicker Park, Logan Square, Avondale) to come prepared with their own questions for the Commander and Area 5 Deputy Chief.
