DJ’s Against Apartheid Campaign

7 pm - community discussion + panel at Podlasie Club w/ @DJsAgainstApartheid
9 pm - 12 am - DJ Sets by @DJsAgainstApartheid signees: @djnanoos , @zona_cinco_ , and @Blesstonio

Join us for our nightlife track including a panel discussion with DJs Against Apartheid organizers and signees from New York City and Chicago to move toward a shared understanding, analysis, and strategy for building power within our spheres of influence in this moment. The panel will discuss the radical legacy of dance music and the current campaign’s work to harness the power of dance music in shaping public opinion, fighting for liberation, and resisting oppressive forces. Following the panel there will be space for music and dancing for Chicago nightlife workers and party goers to gather with the intention of continuing to build relationships and organize with one another.

**This is a suggested donation event in effort to raise the maximum amount of funds toward Hellana Atef Albeess’s family’s fund in order to support their evacuation from Gaza as soon as possible. We will be taking $10++ Venmo and cash donations at the door.**
